JAI #199 and CASology- Sympathy Card

Sympathy cards are always hard to make, and this one was no exception. A lady in my mother's group suddenly lost her husband this week, and with a son my age I cannot even fathom what she must be going through. Reaching out with a handmade card is my way of showing that I am thinking of her.


I embossed the background and added three flowers that I fussy cut from a stamp. Some hemp tied in a bow was the finishing touch.

 CTMH Supplies used:
Cardstock: Pear, White Daisy
Embellishments: Black Hemp
Embossing Folder: Damask
Inks: Blush, Creme Brulee, Honey, Black.
Stamp Sets: Card Chatter- Sympathy, You Only Live Once
Tools: Micro-Tip Scissors, Mini Glue Dots, 3D Foam Tape.

    Sympathy cards are always so hard to make but you've done a fantastic job. I love how the sentiment really pops out in crisp black.
