I am excited to announce that I am on the Design Team for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge! I look forward to sharing my creations with you each week.
This week, the sketch is:
I know a few gamer guys (my husband included) so it will be great to have this card on hand when a gamer's birthday comes up!
At fist glance, this card probably doesn't look to special or like the sketch. I did take the liberty of flipping the decorative edge on the sketch. When I start to open it up, here is what it looks like:
Now can you see my decorative edge based on the sketch? I made a gatefold card, using the edge of the paper as my decorative edge. It even matches up perfectly when closed- a complete fluke but it works well.
I also decorated the inside of my card with a message panel.
I took inspiration from this tutorial to make my card.
CTMH Supplies used:
Papers: Sparkle and Shine
Cardstock: Black, White Daisy
Stamp sets: Tech Speak, Card Word Puzzle
Tools: 3D Foam Tape, Micro-Tip Scissors
Great card, I really like how you used the sketch to make the card....it really adds interest.
