Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #43

Welcome back to another week at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!

This week, the sketch is:

And here is my take:

I don't have a lot of floral stamps, so instead of making the flower the focal point, I created my own watercolour background using the Direct To Paper swiping technique. All I did was swipe my inkpad directly over some cardstock to create a unique background.

The inner piece of cardstock has a paper pierced border, and I fussy cut some details from the A Garden stamp set. I popped up the flowers with foam tape and added a sweet little sentiment.

This card is heading to a friend who has done a lot for me lately. A handmade card in the mail always gives me warm fuzzies, and so I hope this card makes someone's day a little brighter.

Make sure to check out the other design team's creations, and it would be lovely to have you play along with us too!

CTMH supplies used:
Cardstock: Cotton Candy, White Daisy
Ink: Ruby, Sunset, Cotton Candy, Blush, Pear
Stamp set: A Garden
Tools: Micro-Tip Scissors, Tombow Adhesive, 3D Foam Tape, Paper Piercing Tool.
