CTMH Stamp of the Month: Happy Place

Hello and welcome aboard our Stamp of the month Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from Maz's Blog - Arty Maz's Inky Fingers then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you this quick and easy card which features March Stamp of the Month Happy Place S1403A available exclusively throughout February for $29.99 or for just $5 when you spend $75.

I love the card bases that CTMH does, and these usually form the body of my cards. Using Topiary and Hollyhock ink, I stamped the medium and small babushka's directly onto the card base. I stamped them in opposite colours on white daisy cardstock and fussy cut out the centre using my scissors, to give a contrasting look on each of the dolls. The sentiment was also stamped directly on the card base using the Urban Alphabet stamp set.

My stamping was a bit crooked but I actually like the tilted effect, as it seems like the big doll is leaning in to talk to her friend on the left :)

Happy Place is only available until 31st March from your CTMH consultant or at my shop. I'd love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop, Jenny's Heart & Craft Corner.
