NZ Roots

I am sending over a Random Acts of Kindness parcel to a friend of mine who used to live in New Zealand but now lives in Australia. I wanted a card to remind her of us down here in Christchurch, and the CASology cue card this week really helped out!

Since my friend's roots are in New Zealand, it was fun to make this card!

The fern is one of New Zealand's native plants, and I stamped it in green and then overlapped it in grey as there is also a silver variety. I added some silver shimmer trim to reflect the Silver Fern theme, and added a strip of topiary cardstock to also bring out the green. A sentiment from my new favourite stamp set completed the card.

I hope my friend is reminded of home and enjoys her parcel, she is such a wonderful lady and deserves some goodies.

CTMH supplies used:
Cardstock: White Daisy, Topiary
Ink: Topiary, Slate
Stamp set: New Zealand Greetings
Embellishments: Silver shimmer trim

  1. Love the detail on that stamp image - it's so fine and gorgeous! I have friends in NZ, too - I really hope I can get there one day and see them, but Toronto is far from Auckland, for sure! Thanks for joining us at CASology this week!
