Sometimes, I have an idea for a card in my mind that doesn't go as planned. When I saw the sketch this week at Atlantic Hearts, I had a great idea.
However, due to less-than-perfect masking, ink smudges and a fussy cutting nightmare, I ended up with something very different from my original idea.
I am still on the fence about this card, but by this stage I was over it! I am sure it will still make any robot loving boy happy, but I am just a bit deflated as it was not what I was expecting.
How do you recover from crafting let-downs? I would love to know your thoughts! While you are here, it would be lovely to see your take on the sketch this week.
CTMH supplies used:

Inks: New England Ivy, Pacifica, Slate
Paper: Whimsy Fundamentals Assortment
Stamp set: Robot Family
I think this card is really cute. When I get a card completed and it is not what I expected, and I am not happy with it, I give it to my daughter and I start over. She is just starting to craft and loves to have some designs to inspire her.
