This week, I am combining two challenges to create my card.
I have been very honoured to receive some recent mentions for my projects over at Color My Heart, and their challenge this week is to choose your own Orange! Green accents are also allowed.
I also combined this with the Just Add Ink sketch challenge, as I prefer working with sketches to keep my cards balanced.
The orange colour scheme allowed me to use up some scraps of paper I had leftover from Halloween creations, and I used the November Stamp of the Month to create a multi-layered flower with green leaf accents. This stamp set is great for fussy cutting! The sentiment is a very old sticker I had in my stash, which I thought went really well with the flower.
Here you can see the different layers to the flower, which I alternated stamping in two different shades of orange.
I love all the different oranges in this card, and it was a great way to have a play with my new stamp set as well as use up some of the older items and scraps in my stash.
CTMH Supplies used:
Cardstock: White Daisy
Inks: Goldrush, Pear, Sunset
Paper: Free To Be Me, Scaredy Cat
Stamp set: It's The Little Things
