Quick Christmas Card set

I have a lot of scraps left over from my Yuletide Carol Workshop on the Go, and so I thought I would make up some quick Christmas cards.

You will need:
3- 5 1/4  x 9" pieces of Ruby cardstock
3- 4 1/4 x 5" pieces of Champagne cardstock
3- 4 1/4 x 1 3/4" pieces of patterned paper
9 triangles cut from patterned paper
Gold shimmer trim and sequins
Inks and stamps

Start off by folding the Ruby cardstock in half with the crease on the left, then mat the Champagne cardstock onto the card base.

Add a strip of patterned paper to the bottom of the cardstock, then add a strip of shimmer trim on top. Use your favourite Christmas stamp set to stamp a greeting above the shimmer trim.

This was the stamp set I used for the sentiment- A Holiday (A1115), and it is only $12 for the set!

Add three triangles to each card, using the one in the middle to match the strip of patterned paper along the bottom. Finish off with a sequin on top of the central Christmas tree.

Complete the other two cards using the same method.

The cardstock, paper and sequins were all part of the Yuletide Carol Workshop on the Go, but you can purchase these items separately as well.

This would be a great way to use up scraps and get a lot of Christmas cards made in a short space of time. I would love to see your versions of these Christmas tree cards if you decide to make some of your own!

CTMH supplies used:
Cardstock: Champagne, Ruby
Embellishments: Gold Sequins Assortment, Gold Shimmer Trim
Ink: New England Ivy
Paper: Yuletide Carol
Stamp set: A Holiday
WOTG: Yuletide Carol

  1. Adorable! I love how you matched the paper on the bottom to the middle tree on top. And I love the gold! :) Thanks for linking up with us at Motivational Monday! Hope to see you there again tonight! :)
