Everything ABC's Blog Hop- Y

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter Y. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their Y element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Linda's blog ~ Scrappy Therapy.

If you came from Dominique's Blog then you're on the right track!

For my "Y", a particular sentiment jumped out at me. The You Mean The World To Me stamp set has four amazingly artistic sentiments, and the title sentiment was perfect for pairing with this new alien stamp set.

I stamped some earth images onto Whisper cardstock, which I then framed with shimmer trim. The sentiment was stamped then cut out, and I paper pieced and fussy cut the alien to sit on top of the sentiment. The alien was adhered using 3D foam tape to make him stand out.

This card will be perfect for my soon to be five year old, as I am so proud of him. He started school visits this week and is growing up so fast, and I want him to know how special he is. Plus, aliens will bring a smile to the face of any little boy!

Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is Darlys Recker.

  3. Super cute card! You are right about an alien bringing a smile to any boy. I am sure your son will love it. I may have to make one of these for my son.
