January Stamp of the Month Worldwide Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  We will be featuring January's SOTM, which is This Moment, a set of 12 stamps.

If you have come here from Michelle's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.

This month we have 61 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

I have created a Mini Album using new products from the Seasonal Expressions catalogue, as well as the January Stamp of the Month. This album is for my husband as we will be celebrating our seventh wedding anniversary soon, and I wanted to put together something meaningful.

The cover is simply enhanced with a Heartstrings Complements sticker, hinting at what is inside.

The first page is a Love Notes card made using the SOTM, and a journalling sticker from the Heartstrings Complements. I love the pop of colour from the Heartstrings paper pack.

I started the photos with our engagement, using cardstock from the Heartstrings paper pack and some of the matching Complements.

A few photos of our wedding day were enhanced with a zip strip, stamped images from the SOTM and a Heartstrings Assortment cupid button.

The bold Hello title from the SOTM can be paired with other words to create titles. Here I paired it with the word baby to journal about the arrival of our first son.

A stamped image from the SOTM has been fussy cut here and layered over a photo, and once again I have used Heartstrings cardstock and Complements.

These look like washi strips, but are actually stickers from the Complements and go so well with the overall look of this page talking about the February 2011 earthquakes and the impact on our relationship.

I love zip strips, and here once again paired with cardstock, complements and a stamped image it has allowed me to jazz up a journalling component to the album.

Lagoon shimmer trim adds a fun border to this page, which shows the growth of our house and family! I used the "be amazing" sentiment from the SOTM, pairing it with a stamped word from the January Constant Campaign stamp set to create my own title.

Here I have combined the cardstock and zuip strip with another stamped sentiment from the January SOTM, masking off the areas I didn't want and using a Heartstings assortment button to create the true love title. I love the fact that you can do this with CTMH's clear stamps, to create any title or word to suit your occasion.

Some more embellishments and cardstock were used on this page, as well as some arrows stamped down the sides of the journalling box. There are three different types of arrow images on the January SOTM so it is fun to have a play with all three designs and see which arrow works for your project.

On the last page, I have used another one of the arrows and the bullseye, as well as fussy cutting one of the sentiments.

This book was quick to put together once I had the photos organised, and with only a little effort you can make a beautiful personalised book for your loved one this Valentines Day or for a special occasion using the January SOTM, Little Moments.
