Operation Smile Worldwide Blog Hop

Welcome to the special Operation Smile Blog Hop! Today, we are sharing how one stamp set can change the life of a child. If you have come here from Michelle's Blog you are on the right track! If you get lost, you can find a full list of participants here.

When you purchase the C-size You're The Bomb stamp set at full retail price from now until March 2015, Close To My Heart will donate $3USD of the proceeds to Operation Smile. Since its founding in 1982, Operation Smile has p[erformed over 220,000 surgical procedures to correct facial deformities in children. It only takes an hour for volunteer medical teams to perform these life-altering surgeries that will give children confidence for a lifetime.

Using this stamp set, I created a card to lift the spirits of a friend going through a hard time. The fun of this stamp set is combining all the words to create your own titles, sentiments and accents.

The sentiment is popped up on foam tape, and I stamped over some of the doodle stamps from another set to make the words stand out. Some bling and twine were added to the card for some extra embellishments.

I used the diamond shine stamp image behind the SO sentiment to draw attention to the sentiment, as there is a lot going on with this card! The end result is fun, bright and will hopefully bring a smile to my friend's face.

I would love for you to leave a comment before heading off to Catherine's Blog, I am sure she has something amazing to show you!

I you need more inspiration, here is a sneak peek of a layout I also created using this stamp set; you can find more information here.
