A Merry Little Christmas

I have been hoarding the last of my Yuletide Carol paper packet scraps, but when I saw these two prompts this week I had a great idea with the musical paper.

I love the song "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" (the Cliff Richard version of course) and am so excited to have that song title in my stamp stash. I hope that counts as a favourite quote!

I tried to make the song title the focus by double matting it as well as double stamping the sentiment; first in Bamboo ink and then in New England Ivy.

Here is the finished card:

I also coloured in the word Merry by using the New England Ivy ink and a blending pen to make it stand out.

Check out Merry Monday and Between The Folds for the full challenges!
