This week's sketch at Atlantic Hearts immediately reminded me of a lever card I have been wanting to make for my twin sister's birthday. I always have my birthday with her (funny that!) and since we both make cards I wanted to wow her with a new design. I also thought this would be perfect for entering in the Just Add Ink Fancy Fold challenge!
This was also perfect for the Between The Folds Fancy Pants challenge!
I used the retired Brushed Paper Packet to make a floral lever card. Here it is closed.
When you open it up, it becomes a 3D card!
The sentiments are from Belated Birthday, and I used the suggested Brushed colours of Pear and Hollyhock to ink with. The beautiful flower is from Blossoming Expressions, and I used the leaves from Lovely Birthday.
I have left a blank white panel to write something to my sister.
We would love for you to join in with this week's sketch!
Full instructions on how I made this card can be found here.
What an adorable card. Clever fold and wonderful colour palette.
