Dreaming of a White Christmas

I have still been recuperating from my surgery, but when I saw the challenge dare this week of White on White with just a Black sentiment, I knew I had to play along!

The song "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" was running through my head as I made this card. I cut an intricate doily from the Cricut, and then added a stamped White Daisy tree piece that I embossed with clear powder on top of the die cut. The sentiment was stamped directly on to the card base in Black ink.

I had a crafty accident and then smeared black ink on my finished card- so White Gems to the rescue! Does anyone else have this happen to them or am I just clumsier than the average crafter?

  2. Laura, you are not the only one to make a mistake. I did a big one on this challenge too but there is always a cover up. Your card is very pretty and I'm glad I read your blog because your tree panel lacked clarity and I took a second look and enlarged. You were right on with your sentiment unlike me. Good luck in the challenge.
