March Worldwide Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  We will be featuring March's SOTM, which is Sunshine Birdies, a set of 11 stamps.

If you have come here from Darlys' Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.

This month we have over 35 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

I saw a beautiful card in a local Stamping magazine, and knew it would look amazing recreated with this stamp set!

To start, I cut three circles in Honey cardstock and then cut a slightly smaller strip of watercolour paper to sit behind. I brushed this with watercolour paints, changing from light brown to blue.

I then stamped three of the birdies on this strip using Archival Black ink, and let it dry completely.

I added some additional watercoluirng- I am still a beginner with these but it was fun to have a play!

Here is the watercoloured birdie strip on the finished card, which I kept as a blue toned card to really make the birds pop.

Now "Hop" on over to Sheila's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the March SOTM is only available until 31st March!  Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount!
