Today I am participating in two challenges, Just Add Ink's colour combo and Curtain Call's Simplicity prompt.
I decided to create a simple card using some yellow scraps left over from another project. I used a stamp with a string of lights to add to the top of each layer, and I stamped the celebrate banner in light grey ink then swiped the edges in darker grey to give it some dimension.
The finished card!
This card was very quick to put together, and I can see different variations for weddings and masculine birthday cards too.
Come back tomorrow when I will be sharing a feminine graduation card with the Charlotte paper packet from Close To My Heart.
Oh, this is so pretty! I love your wonderful take on the inspiration photo!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea - and I really good way to use up smaller bits of card. The curly stamp is perfect for this project. Chantell JAI
ReplyDeleteI love the way you've used the two greys on the banner - very clever! Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Add Ink.
