CTMH Australasian Blog Hop S1612 Thoughtful Flowers

Hello and welcome aboard our December Stamp of the Month Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Shauna then you are in the right place.

If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s December Stamp of the Month, Thoughtful Flowers.

I thought that one of the flowers looked like a poinsettia (I don't have a green thumb at all and can't usually name any flowers!) and so I decided to create a quick Christmas card using the stamp set and also the Very Merry stamp set.

I used Champagne and Ruby cardstock on a Colonial White card base, and I ran the cardstock through my Cuttlebug with a Woodgrain embossing folder. I used the Circle Diffuser to leave a smooth space in the middle of the card, where I stamped the flower in Ruby ink. The sentiment was also stamped with Ruby ink and matted on extra strips of Champagne and Ruby cardstock.

I layered a Coral Reef sequin and a Red Enamel Gem in the centre of the flower to add some extra interest, but otherwise left the card quite simple.

This exclusive stamp set is only available during December. It can be yours for just $7.50 with a qualifying order of $75 or for $30.50 if ordered separately from your CTMH consultant.

I'd love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop, Doris.
