Worldwide September SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  We will be featuring September's SOTM, which is Family Is Forever, a set of 7 stamps.

If you have come here from Kelly Janes' Blog you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda's Blog.

This month we have 80 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

I love making little gift boxes for my family and friends, and this month's stamp set has a great mix of sentiments that can be used for family, love, and candy!

I started off by making a gable box. You can use the Cricut Artiste Gable Box for this, or follow the directions to create your own using this tutorial. I stamped over the cardstock before assembling it to add a pattern to the finished box.

Assembling the box can be a bit tricky, but I got there in the end! You need to use a strong adhesive for this.

I used the hearts from the stamp set and fussy cut them to make a border across the box.

I also made a tag cut from the Cricut using the "sweet moments" sentiment and the small hearts. These were added to the box with some 3D Foam Tape. I finished the box off by tying it together with some Baker's Twine.

Here is the back of the Gable Box- I got comments that the stamped cardstock looked like patterned paper and it is a great way to add something extra to the project.

This is a great gift filled with some candy or wrapped chocolates to cheer up a friend or family member.
