I decided to have fun with the gel card technique using the markers.
The first thing to do is fill a small Ziploc bag with blue hair/shower/shave gel. I used shower gel. Only put in enough to cover the surface of the bag, and try to press out any air bubbles before sealing.

Decorate a piece of cardstock the same size or slightly smaller than your completed card base. Cut out a shape (circles or ovals work best) in the centre of the decorated piece.
Adhere the gel filled bag to the back of the decorated cardstock.
Now on to the markers part. I stamped three of these adorable whales on to cardstock, then coloured in their bellies with the markers. The two paler whales ended up with quite vivid stomachs, so I toned them down a bit by running the blender pen over the coloured area to remove some of the saturation.
Place your stamped scene on top of the card base, then add your gel piece on top of that. Now you have a fun watery scene for the whales!
I added the Row Your Boat sticker as I wanted a title of some sort, and this one really appealed to me. Not sure why, but sometimes I have to go with my gut instinct!
