Wild Berry is the colour of the year, and what better way to celebrate than with a special on Wild Berry items plus some exclusive products?

I grabbed some of the products on sale as well as some catalogue items featuring Wild Berry to create a quick and easy birthday card.

I used the Cake Day Paper Packet and Sticker Sheet, and then added strips of Wild Berry Cardstock. I stamped the sentiment using Wild Berry Ink and the Cake Day Cardmaking Workshop Kit stamp set. I added some interest to the Wild Berry Cardstock by also stamping these using Wild Berry Ink and the Circles and Patterns stamp set. I popped the sticker up on some 3D Foam Tape for dimension and lastly added some Wild Berry Dots.

I couldn't go past the bright and happy colours of the new Cake Day range- isn't it fun? I am also loving the new All Day Every Day stamp set.

I knew I had to create a birthday layout using the new Cake Day collection. I started off by using a White Daisy cardstock background that I splattered with orange Watercolour Paint, and left to dry. I then layered some of the new Cake Day Picture My Life Cards as photo mats to create a fun grid look.

I added some of the Cake Day Stickers for embellishment, and used the title stickers as well as using the border stickers as mock washi tape as I cut them up.

I also added some smaller sentiments and journal lines from the new All Day Every Day stamp set, and added further embellishments with the Cake Day Dots and more stickers.

I stamped a little banner on one of the Picture My Life cards with Black Ink using the Cake Day Cardmaking Workshop Kit stamp set.

I love how cheerful this layout looks and I can't wait to get some photos and journalling on this page- I just need to wait for birthday parties to take place again since we are all currently hunkered down at home with Covid. At least scrapbooking with this fun collection cheers me up!

It's never too early to be thinking about Christmas cards, and when I saw the A Furry Merry Christmas stamp set I had to get it!

I coloured this adorable stamp set using Watercolour Pencils and placed the sentiment on some Papaya Cardstock. I then matted the card using  the new Pumpkin Spice Paper Packet (the stripe works for Christmas too!) and added some cute little crosses in first and second generation Papaya Ink using the new Pumpkin Spice Scrapbooking Stamp Set.

I added a fun sprig background using different leaves I cut from the new Holly and Ivy Digital Art Collection and then embellished the berries with the Holly and Ivy Die Cuts as the red glitter circles were the perfect size!

I wanted to create a bright and happy layout for my son's birthday party photos using some of the fun new product. Here's a look at the two page layout- let's have a closer look at all the new products used on these scrapbook pages.

On the left hand side of the page, I started off by using the Noteworthy Paper Packet as the main paper. The music notes went perfectly with the music themed birthday party!

I used the new colour Capri Cardstock for a photo mat and accent strip- how beautiful is this colour? Then I added some stickers from the new Smarty Pants Sticker Sheet and used the Smarty Pants Zip Strip for the rainbow accent.

I also used the new Smarty Pants Picture My Life Cards to mat the journal circle I created using the Smarty Pants Stamp Set and Thin Cuts

On the right hand side of the layout, I kept with the same layout and matted my photos in Lemonade Cardstock as well as using more of the musical note paper.

The title was stamped using the awesome new Celebration Alphabet stamp set- you can stamp the outline and the inside separately and create any colour combo you want! I used Nectarine, LemonadeCandy Apple, Avocado and Sapphire inks to create this. The little "happy" above the stamped alphabet comes from the new Love Story Scrapbooking stamp set.

The last new product I used on this layout was the gorgeous Capri Glitter Paper- it doesn't look this dark in real life and it added a fun,. party themed touch to the layout.

I always need Christmas cards, and they are sent all around the globe, so I decided to embrace the wintery feel since it has been rather cold here in New Zealand!

To prepare the base of my Christmas card, I cut a snowflake stencil using my Cricut and the City Sidewalks Cartridge, and sponged over it using Glacier ink and a Sponge Dauber. This created a lovely, soft snow background for my card and the stencil can be used again!

I then cut some houses out of the same City Sidewalks Collection using Pewter, Blue Belle, Flamingo and Sapphire cardstock and layered them together. I placed these on my stenciled card base and framed in more Blue Belle cardstock.

I added some Diamond Stickles to the base of the houses to make it look like snow, and lastly stamped the sentiment in Sapphire Ink from the Merry,Merry stamp set.

As soon as I saw the You're Pawsome set, I knew I had to have it for layouts of my cat!

I used this this stamp set with the new Mix In Paper Packet, Sundance Cardstock and the Wander Paper Packet to create this layout about Chester's love of fresh water from the sink.

I used the lined paper and then stamped little paw prints all over it in Black Ink. I also stamped the journal box with a title and paw print, and added one of the adorable cats from the stamp set.

I also added another cat and sentiment up the top- look at how detailed this stamp set is! I love the shading in the ears and these cats are great left plain or coloured in.

July SOTM - Strong Roots Blog Hop

I instantly loved the little cottage, and I have had midwinter Christmas ideas on my mind, and so I decided to make a winter themed card using the cottage.  I created a galaxy circle background on French Vanilla Cardstock and then used a Cricut cut Snowflake stencil for a subtle all over background.

The title comes from this stamp set too- I stamped the word Home layered in Grape, Sangria and Sapphire ink, and then shaped the rest of the sentence around my galaxy circle (the great thing about our stamps is that they can be manipulated into different lines!) in Sangria ink. The snowflakes were simply sponged onto the cardstock using my Sponge Dauber and Mint Ink

For the galaxy spotlight I sponged a circle using Sapphire, Sangria and Grape ink. I then took my Watercolour Paints and flicked some white over the galaxy circle, and left to dry.

For the house- I stamped the entire house in Versamark and Intense Black ink and then heat embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder so that the colours wouldn't run. Usually with watercolours you can just use Intense Black, but the snow look I created is quite wet and my first attempt didn't work out so I decided to do each step to protect the Black Ink as much as possible. I then coloured the house using Watercolour Pencils, and sponged over the windows with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink so that the lights looked like they were glowing inside. I then added a thick layer of Diamond Stickles Glitter Glue to the bushes and roof, to create a snowy look. It is so sparkly and pretty in real life! I fussy cut the house and popped it up on some Thin 3D Foam Tape

Isn't this such a cute card? I am really pleased with the way it turned out. I'd love to know which detail is your favourite.

Of course I was immediately excited about the hiking themed borders- perfect for our recent day out at the trails of the Adventure Park.

I have created this double page layout by pairing the Outdoor Borders SOTM with the Lovely Paper Packet. The Toffee patterned paper made a great backdrop for my photos, paired with Sage Cardstock

Here is a closer look at the left hand side- I paired this page with some Cricut Cuts from the You Are Here collection as the hiking boot matched the border! I also added in the adorable wooden bunny from the Hillside Cottage Shapes to keep the wood/nature theme going throughout my pages.

As well as using the 'over the hill' stamp across the whole 12 inch strip,  I added some sentiment titles to my page by chopping up the words. Look how cute those small boots are paired with the Cricut cut boot!

The right hand side is a mirror image of the first, with more Hillside Cottage Shapes and Cricut cuts to help the theme. I cut all of the Cricut cuts using Sage, Toffee and Espresso Cardstock.

I added more of the border words by cutting a strip- the back to nature was stamped in Espresso ink and I love that the little tree matches my Cricut cut trees!

The full 12 inch border features again on the right hand side, which I stamped onto the Sage cardstock in Evergreen ink. It is such a fun way to create an easy border! Once again, a few wooden shapes and Cricut cuts were added to the page.
