Worldwide October SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  We will be featuring October's SOTM, which is Home For The Holidays, a set of 7 stamps.  If you have come here from Michelle's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.

This month we have 73 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

I decided to create some gift card holders for the gift cards I plan to give as Christmas presents. All you need to create this is a 12x12 sheet of patterned paper, your trimmer, a score board and a corner rounder. Original idea inspired by Deanna.

Cut a 4 x 12" piece of paper, then on your scoreboard, score at 2 3/4, 5 1/2 and 7 1/4.

Cut off the excess after the 7 1/4 line, then round of the edge that you just cut and place your gift card in the middle.

Fold your gift card holder on the scored lines.

Cut a coordinating strip of paper 1 x 7, and wrap around the holder. If you have used double sided patterned paper, you can just use the opposite side.

I have stamped one of the tags from the SOTM, then fussy cut it and adhered it to the strip.

You should have enough from one pice of double sided patterned paper to make two gift card holders with coordinating strips, and add the SOTM tag to each.

CTMH supplies used:

Cardstock: White Daisy
Ink: Cranberry
Paper Pack: Snowhaven
Stamp set: Home For The Holidays
Tools: Corner RounderScoreBboard, Surecut Deluxe Paper Trimmer
