ABC Blog Hop- F
Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!
For this hop we will be featuring the letter F. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their F element will be featured in their post.
If you came from Pam then you're on the right track!
My F is a Faux Watercolour background- made easy with the Brushstrokes stamp set!
Start of by taping your cardstock base to the table, and masking off the top with some paper. Start by placing the longest stamp over the cardstock, using a different colour ink each time. There is no right or wrong way to do this- just start filling up the white space.
You can also add some of the shorter strokes to the page. Start with one colour scheme, and then build on each colour layer as you go.
Keep going until most of the white cardstock space is covered with the stamp set images.
Add a sentiment to the middle of the card in a dark ink- here I used Cocoa and a sentiment from the Hostess only Better with a Friend stamp set as I think it goes well with the overall design.
Have fun with this background technique- every card will be different and it looks like you have spent ages on it but the stamps and ink do all the work!
Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is Wendy of My Scrapbooking Blog.
