I thought this stamp set would be perfect for a Flowerpot card. I started by making a flowerpot from Kraft cardstock using these instructions. I added a small strip of Purple Shimmer Trim to the pot and then set about creating the insert for the card.
I added a white mat to more Kraft cardstock and stamped one of the sentiments from Beloved Boquet at the bottom in Thistle ink.
I then stamped three flowers in Thistle ink (one that was second generation) and outlined them using Desert Sand ink. I also stamped the leaves on Fern cardstock with Topiary ink.
I fussy cut the flowers and leaves, then added them to the top of the card insert.
Then I slid the insert into the flowerpot, leaving the bottom leaves in the card but making sure the flowers overlapped the pot.
Now you have a fun interactive card to give to someone special.
Now "Hop" on over to Michele's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas!
