Welcome to our Pocket Card Perfection Blog Hop! If you have come here from Michelle’s Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.
This month we have 12 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using Pocket Cards and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!
I have created a double page layout using the Party Time Picture My Life Cards- these are just like our normal PML cards except they are only available until the end of this month. They are perfect for birthday themed layouts and cards, and match with our Party Time Paper Packet and Sticker Sheet in the core catalogue.
The top of this layout is made using the 4x6 PML cards spread out across the two page layout.
The left hand side also features some of the fun matching stickers from the sticker sheet, including the scalloped border (yes that is a sticker!) that I cut in half so that it would fit over both sides of the layout. Paired with the starry zip strip down the bottom, it makes for such a bright and fun layout.
The great thing is that this design can be used with any PML cards depending on what theme you want or the look you are going for, and there is minimal cutting as the pocket cards fit perfectly in a row across the top of the layout.
For example, here's the exact same layout design but I've swapped the left and right sides and used the Sweet Safari Picture My Life Cards paired with some of the leftovers from my Sweet Safari Scrapbooking Workshop Kit.
Now "Hop" on over to Kim's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas with the Pocket Cards!
What great layouts and they use so many of the different PML cards. I love that you fussy cut out the balloons, popped them up and sponged ink behind.
ReplyDeleteLove that you mixed Party time PML with Safari ppk!
ReplyDeleteFun layout!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great birthday layout! I love that you fussy cut the ballons and then sponged behind to accent them.
