Time goes fast when I am having fun! After packing up from an awesome retreat weekend with 20 scrapbooking ladies, I haven't sat at my desk to do any work as I have been so busy catching up on life in general! My boys have been keeping me busy too, but we all sat down together and I asked them to help me do this week's sketch as a card for Atlantic Hearts.
My boys are just as taken with the Cuddly Salutations stamp set as I am, so we made this wonderfully stripy card to cheer someone up. The boys loved helping with my Cuttlebug and choosing what colour the cat could be- luckily they settled on orange rather than purple!
Please join up with us this week, our sketches are open to interpretation as you can see from my card as I flipped the sketch upside down with pennants instead of stems and a cat instead of a butterfly.
CTMH supplies used:
Cardstock: Sunset, White Daisy
Ink: Sunset
Stamp Sets: Balloon Talk, Cuddly Salutations
Tools: Blending Pen, Stripes Embossing Folder
Super cute, and it's awesome that your boys want to help, so happy they settled with orange instead of the purple too....lol!

Lauren, love your CAS creation and love that your boys wanted to help! This is a great card!
ReplyDeleteI love kitty's and love your take on this weeks sketch!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I love the embossing, it takes this project from drab to fab, it really does add so much. The red against the white is so striking, I really love it.
