Everything ABCs Blog Hop- T

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter T.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their T element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Linda's blog ~ Scrappy Therapy.

If you came from Jen's Creative Classroom then you're on the right track!

For my T project, I focused on Teacher Appreciation, which is an adorable stamp set!

I created these pen holders, perfect for my son's preschool teachers for their end of year gifts.

You will need to get some glass etching cream for your local craft store. Put some into a disposable plate to use on a glass surface (my glass jars purchased here).

I used the Crucit to cut the word "pens" onto vinyl, which will then peel off and adhere to the surface you want to etch.

Paint a layer of the glass etching cream over the stencil, then leave to dry for 15 minutes.

Rinse off any excess and peel off the vinyl. Your jars should look like this!

My finishing touch was to decorate the jar. I used the sentiments and pencil from the Teacher Appreciation stamp set, and stamped them onto a tag. I then used some ribbon to attach the tag onto the jar, and I was done!

These are now all ready to give as gifts when the term finishes.

Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is Melissa of Scrappin' More Mom.

In case you get lost along the way…go to Scrappy Therapy  for a complete list of participants!
