Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!
For this hop we will be featuring the letter T. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their T element will be featured in their post.
If you came from Stephanie then you're on the right track!
My T is for Tapestry Background, a great way to showcase a detailed stamp set and really let the background do the talking!
To begin, swipe different colours of pigment ink across a card base. You do need to use pigment ink as you want to keep the ink wet for as long as possible.

Quickly stamp a selection of images (here I have used Paper Garden, the September SOTM) using White Pigment Ink and then cover the entire piece of cardstock in clear embossing powder.

You should end up with a beautifully glossy background that you can now use on a card base.

The white stamped images still stand out from the inked background, and create a lovely soft effect.

Here is the finished card- I backed the embossed piece and added a simple sentiment to really let the Tapestry Background shine.
