Color Dare Birthday Card #3

I am celebrating my thirtieth birthday by bringing you a handmade birthday card idea every day this week.

Today's card ties in with the Color Dare of Pacifica, Crystal Blue, Goldrush and Honey.

I made this card using a birthday stamp set, but you could easily use it for a non-birthday occasion. It uses the spotlighting technique, which I tried today for the first time and love!

I simply background stamped the card, then cut some circles out and placed the same image in the negative space but in a different colour. This used all four colours, and I also stamped the sentiment in Goldrush in a larger circle.

CTMH supplies used:
Cardstock: Crystal Blue, Honey
Inks: Crystal Blue, Goldrush, Honey, Pacifica
Stamp set: Lovely Birthday
Tools: Circle Punch

  1. What a fun card! I love how you did the background and used the circle die-cuts to pop some colour into the background and for the sentiment. Thank you for inspiring us at Color My Heart Challenge Blog.
