NOvember- NO B&T

This month, November's Heart to Heart challenges all begin with the word NO.

The first challenge for the month is to create a scrapbook layout with with NO B&T paper.

It’s NOvember, and your scrapping no-no is that you cannot use any B&T/designer paper on this month’s scrapbooking project!  Sure, you can make your own B&T from card stock: maybe you want to stamp, score, crumple, or distress it?

I decided to go with creating an overlay background from cardstock using the Cricut and Artbooking cartridge. My four year old son picked the colour and type of overlay to cut, and then I added the backing cardstock as well as a chevron sticker strip.

I created some embellishments by adding stamped sentiments and images such as this Earth and some footprints.

A simple journaling circle completed the layout, and my son was very proud that he had helped to create this page!

CTMH supplies used:
Cardstock: Chocolate, Colonial WhiteOutdoor Denim, Ruby
Cricut: Artbooking Cartridge
Embellishments: Timberline Complements
Ink: Chocolate, Lagoon
Stamp set: Timberline WOTG
