Bring Back My Pack- More Magical Blog Hop

Welcome to our Featured Paper Packet Blog Hop!  Today we are featuring the Magical Paper Packet that has been bought back to purchase.

If you have come here from Kimberly's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.

I am in New Zealand and there is sadly no chance of me getting to Disneyland any time soon, but Magical can be used for so much more than theme parks!

Anyone who knows me knows that I love Harry Potter, and so I thought the Magical Paper packet would be the perfect colours and designs for a recent Harry Potter Donut Day I went to. Sadly my photo printer is still being difficult so I will have to re-print the photos on this layout, but I added them anyway so that you could get the full effect of the layout.

I used the multi-coloured heart paper for the background since I love Harry Potter and food!

The Black and White Dots are included in the Magical Workshop Kit and so I used these on my journaling box to mimic the trio of donuts.

Aren't these donuts adorable? They are from the CTMH Artistry Cricut cartridge, and so of course I had to include them in my layout. On a side note, my Harry Potter top is pretty adorable too!

Now "Hop" on over to Carrie's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #182

This week's sketch at Atlantic Hearts was great to play along with at a recent scrapbooking retreat, where I had lots of retired scraps to use up!

I pulled out my Magical Paper Packet and set to work.I also used a retired stamp set from the Hello Life set and used a new flower from the With You stamp set. I originally stamped the sentiment with white ink but it didn't show up as well as I would have hoped, so I re-stamped it using Cranberry ink.

I added some Red Shimmer Trim to the card to tie in the red, yellow and white theme, and now I have a great generic card on hand.

Magical Australasian Blog Hop

Hello and welcome aboard our Magical Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

This is the start of the hop, or you may have arrived here from Vandra's Virtual CTMH Classroom.

If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you a layout that features Close To My Heart’s Magical Paper Packet, as well as the Magical Complements. This layout is about my son's oral surgery, where he ended up with a tooth extraction and a subsequent visit from the Tooth Fairy.

I cut down one of the Journaling Cards to fit onto my layout, and stamped a title from the Sunshine on a Cloudy Day stamp set with Black Ink. The arrow and star were added complements to draw attention to the title.

I embossed some of the photo mats with the Confetti Stars embossing folder, and stamped another sentiment from the Crazy Good stamp set.

Here is the finished layout- I love these blue and black papers for boy layouts and they really do go with a variety of themes!

This Workshop Your Way collection can be yours for just $48NZD.  Individual components can be ordered from your CTMH consultant.

I'd love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop, Creating with Kara Davies.

Magical 3D Boxes

Anything 3D gets two thumbs up from me, and makes the perfect challenge this week over at Heart 2 Heart Challenges!

I created a set of four gift boxes using the Magical paper packet and coordinating cardstock.

These Magical Birthday Boxes also use the Packages, Boxes and Tags stamp set to create the perfect finishing touch to each box. I have listed each Cricut cartridge below in italics.

First is the Box It Up- Chevron Box featuring the Crystal Blue and Cranberry cardstock, plus a cute stamped black and Cranberry tag.

This cute piece of cake is from the Sweet Tooth Boxes-Sweet Cake Box and I have added a cut panel of black cardstock to frame the stamped sentiment.

I have a bit of a stars and stripes theme going on here for this Fancy Boxes-Candle Box that uses one of the Magical Zip strips and a Crystal Blue stamped tag.

Finally, I am embracing my inner Minnie Mouse with this  CTMH Artiste-Hexagon Box and a cut sentiment from the Artistry cartridge. I stamped the confetti from the stamp set in Cranberry ink around the bottom of the box.

If you have been inspired to create your own 3D project, please link up with us as we would love to see your project!

S1606 The Long Way Home Australasian SOTM Blog Hop

Hello and welcome aboard our Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Kara's Blog then you are in the right place.

If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s June Stamp of the Month, The Long Way Home.

As soon as I saw this stamp set, I knew I had to do a mini album of a recent road trip! I have not added the photos yet but here is the album all put together.

I used the Hip Pics Mini Album to document this road trip, which is a perfect size for smaller events and brilliant as a gift. I decorated the front with some Magical Paper and Complements.

I love how this album has pockets all ready to slip the photos in. The title page features the car stamp, as well as a title stamped in Cranberry Ink with the Noted stamp set and a Magical Complements arrow.

I used some more Complements on these pages, with the arrow and street sign from the SOTM and the journal lines and Note to Self sentiment also from the Noted stamp set.

This next spread features a frame cut from Magical paper, a stamped banner for journalling, and one of the SOTM images stamped and fussy cut then placed on a strip of Magical paper.

For this page, I added a Picture My Life card directly over the album page, then decorated the right hand side with a Magical zip strip, more journal lines and some stamped suitcases from the June Stamp of the Month.

I love a fun frame, and this seemed to go perfectly with the scenic route stamp! I also cut some banners from the Magical paper and stamped two from the Noted stamp set.

Some more Complements and journal lines on the left hand page! I added one of the Magical Complements titles on the right hand side, and will use a smaller photo so I slipped in a piece of paper to create a frame.

The paper will also be used as a frame over the page, along with a Cricut cut border. I carefully coated the heart of the stamped image in Cranberry ink, then rolled the rest in Sapphire ink to create a sentiment. The 'say cheese' is also Cricut cut and I added a stamped star from the SOTM and a camera from the Magical Complements.

Another Cricut cut and journal lines for this page, as well as a speech bubble for journalling and the stamp in Honey ink.

The last page used some more Zip Strip and Complements, and I finished off by stamping the Road Trip stamp in Cranberry ink.

I can't wait to add photos to this album- it will be a perfect reminder of the fun time we had on the road!

This exclusive The Long Way Home stamp set is only available during June. It can be yours for just $10 with a qualifying order of $75 or for $33 if ordered separately from your CTMH consultant.

On yer Bike!

Did you know that this is National Transportation Week? H2H is asking us to feature a form of transportation for this week’s challenge.

I love the new Enjoy The Ride stamp set- perfect for my bike-mad boys!

I have created a layout to put some photos on the next time we go for a bike ride- unfortunately our plans so far have been thwarted by sickness but we will be fitting in another family bike day soon!

This layout uses the new Magical Paper Packet and Magical Complements. I slightly tweaked one of the Magial Workshop Your Way layouts to fit my photos and embellishments.

This sticker negative was perfect to put on my layout, and I embellished it with a few more pieces from the Magical Complements.

I also stamped a bike and sentiment under the journal box, as my boys definitely have adventures on their bikes.

We would love to see your transport themed projects this month- link up here!

S1605 Celebrate Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Hello and welcome aboard our May Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Wendy's Blog then you are in the right place.

If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s May Stamp of the Month, Celebrate with Cake.

I paired this stamp set with the new Magical WYW, a fabulous boy paper packet with the most amazing sequins!

Here is the layout- unfortunately I printed my photos the wrong size so you will have to imagine my layout with the birthday photos!

I paired the 'celebrate' sentiment with one of the cute cameras from the Magical Complements and the blue paper. You can also see the balloons from the Magical Complements with the white twine to create a bunch of balloons on one of my squares.

I cut up one of the PML cards and stamped the candles down the red strip in black ink.

The PML cards were also great to add a journalling box and the large camera square. More complements, sequins and the 'happy birthday' SOTM sentiment are clustered around the journalling to draw attention to it.

This exclusive  SOTM is only available during May. It can be yours for just $10 with a qualifying order of $75 or for $33 if ordered separately from your CTMH consultant.

I'd love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop, Maz's Inky Fingers.
