Seven Days with Sangria- Day 7

Welcome to the seventh and last post in my Seven Days with Sangria feature posts! Each day for seven days I have been sharing a project created with the Sangria Paper Packet, Complements, Assortment or WOTG, or a mixture of these, as well as other wonderful CTMH Products.

Today I am also part of the Australasian Blog Hop featuring this wonderful paper packet!

If you have arrived here from Denise's Blog, Scrap Stamp Share then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

I am down to the last few scraps of this paper after creating so many fun projects.

I will be celebrating my Grandmother-in-law's 95th birthday in a couple of weeks, and I know we will be getting a photograph of the extended family as we have family coming in from Spain, America and all over New Zealand to celebrate with us.

With that in mind, I used my Sangria scraps and coordinating cardstock to create this 12x12 scrapbook page for a group photo.

The Sangria WOTG stamp set has this lovely 'family' sentiment, and the matching Complements and Assortment add some interest to the paper rectangles.

This zip strip is perfect for the photo I plan to get, as we will have people with all these labels in the photo! I also used another WOTG stamp and cut the banner using the Artistry Cricut cartridge.

The leaves were stamped, then I topped it off with one of the resin flowers from the Sangria Assortment. I also matched sentiments from the Complements to make the "good times together" sentiment at the bottom of the page.

I plan to add some journalling to the middle of the Champagne cardstock strip, but it feels good to have a layout already made for what I know will be a special photo!

I'd love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop, Wendy Hopper's blog- Expressions of the Heart.

Seven Days with Sangria- Day 6

Welcome to the sixth post in my Seven Days with Sangria feature posts! Each day for seven days I am sharing a project created with the Sangria Paper Packet, Complements, Assortment or WOTG, or a mixture of these, as well as other wonderful CTMH Products.

Today's layouts are based on the talented Lisa Stenz' Huntington Flip Flap Kit. I purchased the instructions for this, and then adapted it using the new Sangria Paper Packet with matching Complements and Assortment.

Here are the three base layouts, which are mostly adapted from the MIFYH Volume 2 Ideas Book.

These all use the Sangria Paper Packet with matching cardstock, and I have added some additional Cricut cuts from the new Artistry cartridge.

The Sangria WOTG stamp set also helped to set the tone for the family theme, and I added the banner as a point of interest to the right hand page.

If you haven't used flip flaps before, they are an amazing tool that help to take your projects to the next level by providing interactive layouts and the capacity for more photos. These three layouts will now hold up to 35 photos thanks to the genius design!

Here is a short video demonstrating the layouts complete with flip flaps.

Once I add my photos and journalling, which I plan to do after our family reunion, this is going to be a wonderful addition to my family album.

The layouts are cut and inserted into the flip flaps to make two interactive pages with additional inserts for even more flip flaps.

The right hand page opens top and bottom, which adds an extra fun touch.

This six page double spread will be used for some family reunion photos, and I cannot wait to share the finished product with you. A huge thank you to Lisa for her guidance with this project, I thoroughly recommend her kits and instructions!

Come back tomorrow to see the final installment of my Seven Days with Sangria posts.

Seven Days with Sangria- Day 5

Welcome to the fifth post in my Seven Days with Sangria feature posts! Each day for seven days I will be sharing a project created with the Sangria Paper Packet, Complements, Assortment or WOTG, or a mixture of these, as well as other wonderful CTMH Products.

Today I am sharing a Home Decor project featuring the 5x7 Hinged Display Tray. This is perfect for gift giving this Christmas, or you could do what I have done and display some favourite photos in your house. I have used some of my favourite papers from the Sangria Paper Packet.

The left hand side features a Cricut cut frame for my sentiment, as well as a Rosette with a Sangria Assortment resin flower in the middle.

I added a banner to the right hand side with the Poppy Thick Twine, and stamped another sentiment with a matching Cricut cut from the Artistry collection and the Sangria WOTG.

The stamps are all from the Sangria WOTG, and I love their family themed expressions as well as the cute little hearts!

The Display Tray is now pride and joy in my entrance way for everyone to see.

I am entering this in the Between The Folds Home Decor challenge.

If you would like to create your own version of this display tray, you can register here! Hurry though as spots will close on the 16th October 2015. Alternatively, you can purchase the full pre-cut kit from me and I will mail it to you.

This month we have 30 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

I have created a simple Christmas card combining Sangria Complements and the Sangria paper packet with the Nevermore Paper Packet and Merry, Merry stamp set featured in the Holiday Expressions catalogue.

I stamped the wreath in our new Fern ink and layered some of the Sangria complements over the top, and finished off the card with Poppy Twine. I love the Sangria paper paired with the Nevermore paper, and the colours are unexpected for Christmas but still work well together.

Now "Hop" on over to Jacquelin's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas!

Seven Days With Sangria- Day 3

Welcome to the third post in my Seven Days with Sangria feature posts! Each day for seven days I will be sharing a project created with the Sangria Paper Packet, Complements, Assortment or WOTG, or a mixture of these, as well as other wonderful CTMH Products.

To see my first layout, click here.
To see my second layout, click here.

Today's card is inspired by the sketch over at Atlantic Hearts.

I cut the circle from the Cricut Artistry collection, and added some of the vellum flowers from the Sangria Complements. I also stamped the sentiment in the middle of the large curcle by doing some masking with the For Family stamp set.

I finished off the card by adding a sticker strip from the Sangria Complements, and adding the branches from the cut out wreath onto the left side of the card.

If this sketch inspired you, feel free to play along!

Seven Days with Sangria- Day 2

Welcome to the second post in my Seven Days with Sangria feature posts! Each day for seven days I will be sharing a project created with the Sangria Paper Packet, Complements, Assortment or WOTG, or a mixture of these, as well as other wonderful CTMH Products.

To see yesterday's layout, click here.

Today I am sharing another layout created with the Sangria papers. This one is the left hand side of the Sangria Workshop On The Go alternate layout as created by CTMH Head office.

And here is my version of the left hand side of this double page layout.

I used a different zip strip but everything else is the same as the layout- I really love the colours and patterned paper combination of this layout. The double stamping of the branches and leaves was also a lot of fun to do, and the sentiment is perfect for a variety of photos.

The resin flowers that come in the Sangria Assortment are adorable, and add such a great finishing touch to the layout. I can't wait to put some photos on this layout and display it in my album, this is one of my favourite Workshop on the Go alternate layouts ever!

Come back tomorrow for my third Sangria inspired project!

Seven Days with Sangria- Day 1

Welcome to the first post in my Seven Days with Sangria feature posts! Each day for the next seven days I will be sharing a project created with the Sangria Paper Packet, Complements, Assortment or WOTG, or a mixture of these, as well as other wonderful CTMH Products.

The first item I would like to share with you is this layout of me and my mum. I have a confession- I took this photo because we were both wearing colours that I knew would go well with this paper packet!

Here is the full layout- the sketch is taken from the Make It From Your Heart Vol 1 book as one of the single page layouts. I used a Colonial White background, then framed two papers from the Sangria Paper Packet with Champagne cardstock.

The title was created from the Mother sticker in the Sangria Complements, and I cricut cut the "my" to add as a complete title. The sweet vellum flower from the Complements was added to draw the eye to the title.

I also Cricut cut the leaves to go with the beautiful Sangria paper, and added a journalling box from the Artistry cartridge. A heart accent from the Complements anchored the tab.

I am so glad to have a special photo of me with my mother as we rarely take photos together- I am usually behind the camera, so I grabbed this opportunity and love the photo.

Come back tomorrow to see my second Sangria project!
