Today I would like to share with you a card that features Close To My Heart’s September Stamp of the Month, Blessed Beyond Measure.
When I saw this stamp set, I loved the leaf shapes and was so excited to make a card until I realised that it used the Artbooking cartridge- the only one I don't have! I improvised with some leaf shapes from the Art Philosophy cartridge instead.
The card background was made from placing a rectangle of the Rustic Home Fundamentals Paper Packet on a Colonial White card base. I then stamped a strip of Colonial White cardstock with one of the textured stamps from the new Flower Market exclusive stamp sets in second generation Desert Sand.
I cut the leaves out and then watercoloured them in different shades. When they were dry, I added the leaf stem detail using the September SOTM and Desert Sand ink.
I scored the leaves down the middle and then folded them up slightly on the card.
The finishing touch was some gold sequins and I stamped the Thankful sentiment in Chocolate ink at the top of the card.
This exclusive stamp set is only available during September. It can be yours for just $10 with a qualifying order of $75 or for $33 if ordered separately from your CTMH consultant.
I'd love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop, Passionate About Pages.
The paper and both stamps sets were brand new goodies I have just opened, and so I am linking up this card with the NBUS challenge 7!
Beautiful card! I love the watercolour effect on the leaves.
