Yesterday and Today Australasian Blog Hop

Hello and welcome aboard our Yesterday and Today Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Scrappy Chicks then you are in the right place.

If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s March Featured collection, Yesterday and Today.

Papers

This gorgeous, vintage feel paper packet and accessories lend themselves perfectly to scrapbooking old photos, vintage memories and heritage images.

I have created a layout showcasing a childhood photo, along with a photo of the same childhood home, at the start of this year. I edited both photos with a sepia filter to keep the colours neutral and create that vintage feel. My twin sister and I grew up in this house, so when I went back to my hometown this year I had to take a photo outside my old home!

I love the sketched look of the stickers in the paper packet, and the vellum accents are such a beautiful addition to heritage, vintage and memory themed scrapbook layouts. The addition of the gold glitter gems adds some bling without it detracting from the overall feel of the page.

More vellum, stickers and bling- these cute little typed sentiments are a perfect extra touch to the photos without overwhelming the layout.

This collection can be yours for the months of March and April. Individual components can be ordered from your CTMH consultant.

I'd love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop, Passionate About Pages.
