Birthday Giggles with Let's Party

Once again, I have come up with a card inspired by various challenges to celebrate the upcoming birthday of my partner. We don't take life too seriously and always have a good laugh together, so I knew that I wanted to make a light-hearted card for him.

This sentiment always makes me giggle and is rather apt!

I kept the colour and the layout quite simple, using black and white with a touch of copper accents and just a tiny amount of bling with the black enamel gems. I sponged the notepaper die cut with black ink to make it stand out more as well.

Sweet Baby elephant card

Sometimes I struggle to create a baby card when I am unsure if it will be a boy or a girl, but I still like to incorporate pinks and blues into baby shower cards.

I was luckily inspired by the Color Dare and Addicted to CAS challenges this week.

I knew I wanted to use the baby elephant die cut and stamp set, and the rest of my card just came together- I love it when that happens!



I added a few grey embellishments but I still think the overall affect is quite simple and clean.

A rainbow reminder

So many of my friends are going through difficult times at the moments, and I wanted to remind them not to give up.

Since we have the Create The Rainbow special on this month, I decided to create my own rainbow card using a rainbow die-cut and some of the beautiful coloured cardstocks.

I layered up each colour of cardstock to create a beautiful rainbow, and added some stamped rain to the bottom of each cloud.



I tried to get a rainbow effect with the sentiment by stamping in three different inks- I think it turned out rather cute!
