Australasian October Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s October Stamp of the Month, Autumn Air.

I know that this is an Autumn set for the Northern hemisphere, but I decided to showcase some ways to use this set for a summer themed layout since we are heading into hotter weather!

I paired the Every Little Thing collection with the Stamp of the Month to create a summer road trip[layout featuring some of the gorgeous die-cut butterflies. I also created a checkered pennant at the top of the layout but stamping the checkerboard pattern from the stamp onto some White Daisy cardstock with Sapphire ink.



The ombre background that frames the title was part of the Every Little Thing collection, as well as the watercolour alphas for "road". I then stamped part of the summer sentiment and masked off the words I din't want to create my own title.
