Dressed up for Christmas Day

Image may contain: text

I love the theme for this week's Heart 2 Heart challenge- All Spruced Up!

I know we have the new Spruced Up collection but when I read this prompt I thought about everybody being spruced up, or dressed up. We were recently all dressed up for Christmas Day and so I am sharing a layout based on our Christmas Day attire.

My twin sister and I both turned up in red dresses for Christmas Day, and the colour of our dresses was so similar to Candy Apple and the beautiful Cedar and Pine paper packet so I used these papers and colours for the double page layout.

The left hand side of the page also features a photo of my books looking fancy, as well as a title stamp and some of the Cedar and Pine stickers.

Even my Dad and partner colour coordinated perfectly- this was such a wonderful opportunity to get some nice family photos!

We would love to see your "All Spruced Up' projects over at Heart 2 Heart challenges!

Australasian Cedar and Pine Blog Hop

Hello and welcome aboard our Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from ScrappyChicks then you are in the right place.

If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s December Featured collection, Cedar and Pine.

When I first saw this collection I loved the predesigned scrapbook pages so much, and they are even more beautiful in person!

Here is one of the single page layouts, which I have used for our Christmas tree photos this year. The HOME title is black glitter cardstock and I love all the different peeps of patterned paper underneath the pre-cut page. Plus, how adorable is that car sticker? The wheels on that are also glitter.

Here is another one that I haven't added photos to yet, but will be soon! I love the pink and red together, and I added some of the different pink and red stickers to the layout. I have awesome pink and red Christmas outfit photos that will be going on this layout.

I'd love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop, Creating with Kara Davies.

Holiday

Image may contain: text

This week, Anything Goes at Heart 2 Heart challenges with a Holiday theme!

I had some scraps left over from my Cedar and Pine kit, and I still hadn't used my gorgeous Nutcracker sticker from the sticker sheet. I simply framed him with the plaid Evergreen paper, which I matted with Candy Apple cardstock. I then added a simple sentiment and a cute little holly cluster at the side.

I can't wait to see your holiday themed projects over at Heart 2 Heart challenges- we would love you to link up and spread some holiday cheer.
