In Full Bloom Fancy Fold Card

I have finally succumbed to the dreaded Covid, and so I have been hiding in my craft room for the last couple of days. One bonus is that I have had time to try out all sorts of fun new fancy fold cards.

I used the new In Full Bloom Paper Packet, as it reminded me of the exact colours for the current Fusion challenge!

Here is a cutting guide to the measurements for this card if you want to have a go at creating your own.

Using the colours from the challenge, I coloured my stamped florals from the In Full Bloom Scrapbooking Stamp Set and Thin Cuts, although the sentiment came from the In Full Bloom Cardmaking set. I also added some Black Enamel Dots for embellishment.

I was kind of inspired by the sketch as well for this fancy fold card, although I did my panel vertically instead of horizontally, as it looks like the sketch when opened up. You can see a video of the card being opened up here

I stamped the inside panel as well, and left enough space at the bottom to write a message.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you will be inspired to try this fun card!

Eat Cake

Being stuck at home this week has given me some time to finally play along with some of the craft challenges floating around the internet.

One of old favourites, Fusion, had this as their challenge this week.

I used both the sketch and the image to create this quick and easy card.

I used some Seaglass cardstock and framed it with gold foil tape, then simply added a slice of cake and the sentiment. It is hard to capture the gold foil in a photo but it is very shiny in person!

I am hoping to get a lot more crafting done in the coming month, as I will have a lot of weekends and nights free at home due to the lockdown situation here in New Zealand, so please come back soon to see what else I have been creating!

Thankful for sweet friends

The new September Stamp of the Month has some amazing sentiments, and I paired this with the new Grateful Heart Paper Packet and a daisy Cricut cut for the Fusion challenge.

The Grateful Heart Paper Packet is aimed at fall/autumn pictures, but I think it pairs well with any floral theme.

I stamped the sentiment in Pear ink and then matted int onto matching cardstock to keep the colour palette minimal. I also added some twine around the stem of the flowers for a bit of texture.

I'm sure I'll have a lot more to share with you for the Stamp of the Month and this beautiful paper packet.

Have a Blast!

I'm still loving the Stargazer paper pack even though it has retired.

I created this quick card using a small circle cut from a galaxy background I made using inks, a sponge dauber, sprinkles of water and splatters of white pigment ink.

I then added a metallic rocket and the cute sentiment, and attached everything to the rocket paper background.

I am linking up with the Heart 2 Heart Heavy Metal challenge(the metallic rocket) and also the Fusion challenge where I combined both the sketch and the photo.

Thanks for stopping by!
