For a Wonderful Woman

So many things in life are wonderful- the world around us, chocolate chip cookies, and of course friends and family!

My mother in law is am amazing woman, and I wanted to make her a card to let her know I was thinking of her during a difficult time.

I used the Hello Lovely Paper Packet as the base of this card, and used the coordinating cardstock to perfectly match the patterned paper.

I stamped the sentiment in Fern cardstock, which is from the retired For Family stamp set. I added some of the Hello Lovely Complements around the white cardstock, as well as a sticker on top of the Green Shimmer Trim.

Hello Twins!

I am usually not a huge fan of pink and flowers, but the new Hello lovely range from CTMH has won me over.

I loved a recent photo of me and my sister so much that I had to scrapbook the story behind it, and the Hello Lovely paper packet worked well with the colours in the photo.

I finally got to use some of the Hello Lovely floral complements, and picked out the Fern and Sorbet tones to match. The zip strips from this paper packet are beautiful too!

Of course, I had to use the new twin themed stamp set, Twins Rule, to stamp these cute sayings onto the layout.

I used one of the larger alpha stamps to create the title, and then added another sentiment from the Twins Rule stamp set underneath.

The soft greens and pinks and the floral complements make this layout so girly- perfect for me and my sister! If you have a project with Hello Lovely, you can link it up at this week's Hello Lovely challenge over at Heart 2 Heart.

I added some white twine to the card and stamped the sentiment on White Daisy cardstock with Sorbet ink.

I decided to create a layout using some of the  more masculine items from the Hello Lovely Collection and the matching Sea Glass cardstock. I was inspired by the beautiful 'My Family' title.

The floral sticker and the sentiment sticker are from the Hello Lovely Complements, and I embellished with Grey Enamel Gems and Blue Glitter Dots. The sentiment was stamped in Sorbet ink using a Cricut exclusive stamp set.

I love the Sea Glass colour, and it perfectly frames this photo of my husband and sons at my son's seventh birthday party in December.

Silver and Gold hello

I don't often mix silver and gold together, but this week's Heart 2 Heart challenge prompt called for just that.

I decided to make gold my main focus, with touches of silver embellishments.

I came up with this card using a bold gold title, and some silver hearts. This paper is the new Hello Lovely range paired with Sea Glass, my new favourite paper and colour combination!

The hello is from the Dream Big Complements. I didn't add much to the card as I wanted the sentiment to be the main focus.
