F is for Florals

I decided to create some Floral cards using La Vie En Rose Paper Packet to have on hand for birthdays.



This first one used a sunburst strip, a retired felt flower and some black gems. I love this little sentiment, which is a single stamp.



This second one also uses a single sentiment stamp, as well as some black twine and a La Vie En Rose embellishment. I added some light pink sequins to finish off the card.



This card uses a simple white panel for the sentiment, and I used more of the light pink sequins and felt flowers I had on hand.



Lastly, this card features a sticker from La Vie En Rose Complements to go with the paper and some red sequins.

La Vie En Rose Featured Paper Blog Hop

Hello and welcome aboard our Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop, featuring the La Vie En Rose Paper Packet.

This is the start of today's blog hop, or you may have arrived here from Doris.

Today I would like to share with you a layout I have created for Valentines Day featuring the La Vie En Rose Paper Packet. Scroll down for close ups and then the completed layout.

I mixed the La Vie En Rose Complements with the Mr. & Mrs. stamp set to create this title.



This PML card was cut on the Cricut using the Artfully Sent cartridge. I then stamped the sentiments from the January SOTM, Beloved Bouquet.



I paired a cut out heart with both the Kraft and clear embellishments to create a cluster. here you can also see the fun Zip Strip from the paper packet.



Lastly, I added this funny sticker from the Complements.



Here is the completed layout, ready for photos to be added on Valentines Day!

B is for Beloved Bouquet

My B is for Beloved Bouquet, which is January's Stamp of the Month. I used the floral image from this stamp set as the focal point on my Valentine's Day card.



I embossed the background of this card with the Confetti Embossing Folder, and added some strips of La Vie En Rose Paper Packet for a black and white contrast. The flower looked a bit bare by itself with the sentiment so I added some splat hearts with the Documenting Moments stamp set.



The finishing touch was some Red Enamel Hearts scattered over the card.
