ABC Blog Hop- I

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter I. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their I element will be featured in their post.

If you came from Catherine then you're on the right track!

My background this month is an Ink Spray background, which you can use on either card or scrapbook layout projects.

I started off with an 11x11 piece of White Daisy cardstock and some Lagoon re-inker in a spray pen.

Lightly spray the cardstock- you may want to do this piece on a newspaper. You can get a large or smaller area of mist, as well as droplets like you see on the sheet. Have fun and experiment with this part until you have a look you like!

Mat your white cardstock on a piece of coordinating cardstock and have fun completing your layout. Here I added some photos of our trip to the museum as well as some embellishments and patterned paper.

The spray gives such a fun look to the page, and can look modern, dramatic or vintage depending on what types of colours and saturation levels you use.

I used the wanderful WOTG stamp set to create the title, and added some Wanderful and Chalk It Up Assortment embellishments. The great think about an ink spray background is that it does not need a lot of embellishment to complement it, and so you spend less time completing your pages.

Have you tried an ink spray background before?

Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is Darlys Recker.
